7-Day Exchange Policy
At Shambh Jewels, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. Our 7-Day Exchange Policy is designed to help you find the perfect piece. If you are not entirely satisfied with your initial selection, you can easily exchange it for another item within 7 days of receiving your order.
Return Policy (Exchange Focused)
While we call this a "Return Policy," its primary function is to facilitate exchanges. Our goal is to ensure you find a Shambh Jewels piece you love, and exchange is the primary mechanism to achieve this. Direct refunds are generally not offered under this policy.
- 7-Day Exchange Window: You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate an exchange for a different item in our collection.
- Exchange, Not Refund Focused: This policy prioritizes exchanges. We will gladly assist you in selecting an alternate piece of equal or greater value. If you choose a higher-priced item, you will simply need to pay the difference.
- Limited Refund Scenarios: Direct refunds are highly limited and are only considered in exceptional situations at the sole discretion of Shambh Jewels.
The 7-Day Exchange Policy is not applicable in the following instances:
On orders that have been exchanged earlier under the 7-Day Exchange Policy: You are welcome to exchange your design within 7 days for the full value once. Subsequent exchanges for the same original order will be considered under our Lifetime Exchange Policy, if applicable.
On products that have been engraved, personalized, or customized.
Conditions for the 7-Day Exchange Policy:
- Original Condition Essential: The product must be returned in its original packaging and in saleable condition. It must be free from scratches, damage, wear, or alterations.
- Intact Packaging and Tags: All original stickers and tags must remain fully intact. Tampering with the product tag or packaging may affect exchange eligibility, and alternative solutions may be considered at Shambh Jewels' discretion.
Process for Exchange (Limited Refund Option in Special Cases):
When a product is presented under our 7-Day Exchange Policy, a thorough Quality Check will be conducted.
- Quality Check for Exchange: A successful Quality Check is mandatory for an exchange. We need to ensure the returned item is in perfect, resalable condition.
- Exchange Process: Upon successful Quality Check, we will immediately assist you in selecting a new item for exchange.
- Limited Refund Consideration: Direct refunds are generally not processed under the 7-Day Exchange Policy. In extremely rare and exceptional cases, if an exchange is absolutely not feasible, a refund may be considered, but this is solely at Shambh Jewels' ultimate discretion and is not guaranteed.
- For Cash on Delivery orders: Direct refunds are not applicable for Cash on Delivery orders. Exchanges are the primary solution. In exceptional circumstances, store credit may be considered if an immediate exchange is impossible.
- For Prepaid Orders: Exchanges for other items are the primary solution for prepaid orders. If an immediate exchange is not feasible or desired, store credit for a future purchase may be offered at Shambh Jewels' discretion. Direct refunds are highly unlikely.
How to Initiate a 7-Day Exchange with Shambh Jewels:
- Submit Exchange Request: Initiate an exchange request via your account on our website or by emailing operations.shambh@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.
- Pick-Up Arrangement: Shambh Jewels will provide reverse pick-up details and instructions.
- Proper Packaging: Carefully repack your jewelry in the original packaging, including the certificate, and hand it over to the logistics executive.
- Required Documentation: Ensure the original product certificate and invoice accompany the returned item. Loss of the certificate will result in a fee of Rs. 2,000 or Rs. 800 per carat – whichever is higher.
- Pickup Acknowledgement: Obtain proof of pickup (receipt, tracking number photo, SMS confirmation).
- Quality Check and Exchange Finalization: Once received, the product undergoes a Quality Check. Upon successful clearance, we will contact you to finalize your exchange. Items showing wear, alteration, resizing (by outside jewelers), or damage are ineligible for exchange under this policy.
Exchange Options:
Exchanges can be processed at any of our physical stores, or we can arrange a reverse pick-up for those unable to visit a store.
Important Notes:
- Partial Cash on Delivery Orders: No Refunds: Partial Cash on Delivery orders are explicitly not eligible for refunds or store credit. Our policy is firmly centered on exchanges for customer satisfaction. Direct refunds are almost never offered under the 7-Day Exchange Policy.
- Policy Updates: Shambh Jewels reserves the right to modify this 7-Day Exchange Policy at any time. Please consult the latest version on our website for the most current terms.
- EMI Purchases: Adjustments related to EMI purchases, if applicable, will not be communicated during the exchange process.
