Order Cancellation and Limited Refund Policy
Shambh Jewels reserves the sole right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion due to various reasons. These reasons include, but are not limited to: limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information, or issues identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department.
Strict No Refund Policy for Cash On Delivery (COD) Orders: Please be aware that we have a strict NO REFUND policy for all orders placed using the Cash On Delivery (COD) payment method. This policy applies regardless of whether a partial advance payment was made or not. Under no circumstances will any amount be refunded for COD orders, except as explicitly stated below regarding gold or diamond weight discrepancies.
Customer Initiated Cancellations: Customers cannot cancel orders once placed, particularly for COD orders. Even if a cancellation request is made before the order status is updated to "processing" (please note order processing can take 24-48 working hours), no refunds will be issued for COD orders under any circumstances, except as explicitly stated below regarding gold or diamond weight discrepancies.
Limited Refund Exception - Gold or Diamond Weight Discrepancy Only: Our refund policy is primarily based on the weight concept of gold and diamond products. In the event of a significant gold or diamond weight difference between the ordered product and the delivered product, we will either offer a partial refund or request additional payment to adjust for this weight discrepancy. This is the only circumstance under which a refund will be considered for COD orders.
- Gold or Diamond Weight Heavier than Ordered: If the gold or diamond product delivered is heavier than the weight you ordered, we will contact you to request payment for the additional gold or diamond weight difference before dispatch or at the time of delivery.
- Gold or Diamond Weight Lighter than Ordered: If the gold or diamond product delivered is lighter than the weight you ordered, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund to compensate for the gold or diamond weight difference. This refund will be processed within 10-15 working days to the original payment mode (if applicable, although unlikely with COD focus, and may be adjusted differently for COD).
Delivery and Acceptance: Upon signing the delivery receipt, the recipient confirms receipt of the product in accordance with their order and agrees to the weight of the gold or diamond product as being acceptable.
Shambh Jewels is not liable for any refunds or replacements under any circumstances for any complaints arising after delivery acceptance, except for verified and acknowledged gold or diamond weight discrepancies handled as described above.
Non-Delivery: If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery, our courier will attempt delivery up to three times. If delivery is still unsuccessful after three attempts, the order will be returned. All costs associated with re-shipment and handling due to non-delivery will be the responsibility of the customer. In cases of non-delivery and order cancellation, no refunds will be issued for COD orders, even if related to potential gold or diamond weight discrepancies that were not yet assessed.
